SNAP Produce Rewards is a food access program now available at the West Seattle, Columbia City, and Lake City Farmers Markets.
Produce Rewards is a pilot program of the Washington State Department of Health that makes buying fruit and vegetables even easier for people using SNAP.
What are Produce Rewards?
With this program, SNAP shoppers can buy directly with participating vendors using their SNAP EBT card. Each dollar a SNAP shopper spends on fresh or frozen fruits and vegetables will be immediately refunded back onto their EBT card up to $50 per month Once the money is on the EBT card, it can be spent like normal SNAP benefits. That's $50 of free fruits and vegetables per month!
