Fresh food is good food.
We believe everyone should get to eat and enjoy delicious food. We aim to decrease barriers when it comes to putting fresh ingredients on the table. One way we accomplish this is by distributing Helping Harvest Farm Bucks.
Would your organization like to sponsor Helping Harvest Farm Bucks to increase healthy food access?
The Helping Harvest program allows food banks and other charitable organizations to purchase Farm Bucks for clients. Farm Bucks are market currency that is used to buy fresh fruits and vegetables at any of our seven farmers markets locations.
This is an excellent way for service organizations to provide clients with direct access to fresh, local farm produce by offering choice and a different shopping experience at the farmers markets.
Helping Harvest Farm Bucks help close the gap between state and federal food access programs and our friends and neighbors who need support.
There is no sign up or tracking required to distribute and redeem Helping Harvest Farm Bucks making them the easiest form of food assistance available. You can distribute bucks through our established community partners or on your own. NFM does internally track every single Helping Harvest dollar spent at the market and will provide reports to you.
The process is simple. Determine your budget and how many Farm Bucks you’d like to distribute and send us a note.
