Markets Safety.jpg

Market Safety

The safety and health of our shoppers, our farmers, and our staff are critical.  Our market operating plans are formed in conjunction with and approved by Seattle/King County Public Health, the City of Seattle, and the Seattle Fire Department.

Buy Some Share Some

The Capitol Hill Farmers Market partners with local food banks to increase access to fresh, healthy food. Are you buying a bunch of carrots? Think about buying an extra bundle and drop it off at the Manager’s Tent for the food bank to pick up at the end of the market day. All produce is accepted. Thank you!

CAPITOL HILL FARMERS MARKET

Find us every Sunday, all year round, at E Denny between Broadway & 10th Ave E, aka E Barbara Bailey Way. The market fills the gathering plaza as well as this special street designated for festivals and fun (and fresh local food!). This portion of Denny Way was renamed E Barbara Bailey Way in 2019 to honor Barbara Bailey, a beloved bookseller, LGBTQ+ rights activist, and Seattle native.

We’ve also now added summer Tuesdays! We’re excited to bring this weekday addition to the neighborhood, offering another opportunity to stock up on fresh produce during the high summer season, and in turn providing space for more local farms to connect with customers.

The Capitol Hill Farmers Market is a vital part of the heart of the neighborhood. In addition to lcally-grown farm produce, the market offers tasty ready-to-eat food options (containing local farm ingredients), as well as other unique and local food items. It’s the perfect way to stock up for the week, taste the flavors of the season, get to know your local growers and food artisans, and see friends and neighbors. And of course, plenty of colorful and enticing Instagram photo ops! Visit us from 11am -3pm every Sunday, year-round, and Tuesdays in the summer, 3-7pm.

CAPITOL HILL FARMERS MARKET VENDORS

Note that vendor attendance varies from week to week and last-minute changes may occur. While we strive to update vendor lists and maps here each week, it is not always possible. If you have questions about a particular vendor, or if you’re looking for a particular product, be sure to stop by the market manager tent! You can also view details about market vendors and their products online in our scheduling platform for Sundays and Tuesdays.
