Neighborhood Farmers Market Gift Guide 2021

Winter celebration season is upon us and we want to help you get the perfect gifts for everyone on your lists! Over the next few days, we will be sharing our official NFM gift guides for everyone (yes, even the one who has it all).

The Charcuterie Lover

Charcuterie has taken the culinary world by storm in the past few years and we are so excited about it. The farmers market is the perfect place to stock up on everything you need for a holiday charcuterie that’s guaranteed to wow a crowd. You can also put all of the elements together in a basket and give it as a fun and unique gift for the charcuterie lover in your life. Here are our recommendations:

The Seahawks Fan

Go Hawks! If you’re trying to shop for a Seahawks fan, but you want something more original than another jersey or hat, consider putting together a game-day gift basket, full of fun Seattle and Seahawks-themed goodies they can munch on while they watch the winning touchdown.

The Homegrown Healer

If you are shopping for someone who loves holistic healing, experimenting with their green thumb, or mixing up seemingly magical concoctions, we have some suggestions!

The Cocktail Connoisseur

If you know someone who loves to make drinks (or just drink them), pick up some fun and unique supplies for them to add to their bar cart. You can think outside of the box with this one and include fun garnishes and other things that pair nicely with a nice bottle of liquor.

The Creative Cook

We are so excited about Geni’s Learn to cook Ethiopian set! This makes such a perfect gift for a cook who is always experimenting with new dishes, or also someone who never knows what to make for dinner. The set comes with spices, a cookbook, and tools to make the dishes on your own! We’ve also included some suggestions for other options that are sure to spice up their dishes (literally!)

The Sweet Tooth

We know a sweet tooth or two who would be stoked to get a Pie Bird Pie Club subscription or a Kaffeeklatsch Cookie Box. The Pie Club members get a pie of the month delivered to their doorstep and you can join the club from anywhere from one month to one year! That’s a gift that keeps on giving. Keep an eye out for those and our other gift ideas when you stop by the West Seattle or Capitol Hill Farmers Markets today!

The Host

If you’re tired of bringing a bottle of wine every time you go over to a dinner party, consider the following unique host-worthy gifts that they’re sure to love (and will get you invited back). These gifts are all things that they are sure to use and appreciate, and many of them could be great alternatives for hosts who don’t drink.

The Crafter

Everyone knows that the best part of crafting is getting all of the materials to start a new project. If you have a fiber-arts enthusiast in your life, the following gifts are sure to please. The lamb in a box felting kit is a personal favorite. Throw in some herbal tea to help get the creative juices flowing. You’ll be gifting them a peaceful night in of drinking tea, crafting, and binging Netflix.

Happy Holidays from all of us at the Neighborhood Farmers Markets!
