Market Staff

The Neighborhood Farmers Markets (NFM) is looking for individuals passionate about local food, agriculture and food access to join our part-time Market Staff. Market Staff are responsible for maintaining and supporting weekly onsite market operations to ensure a safe, welcoming, and thriving farmers market environment. If you enjoy working outside with an amazing group of people, you will love being part of the NFM market staff team!

Neighborhood Farmers Markets Board of Directors

The Neighborhood Farmers Markets is on a mission to strengthen and support Washington's small family farm businesses by operating vibrant, successful neighborhood markets.  We work toward increased food access for all Seattle residents, a betting living for farmers, and a more connected community. NFM operates seven markets: University District, Capitol Hill, West Seattle, Columbia City, Magnolia, Lake City, and Phinney.

NFM accepts nominations and interest for our Board of Directors on an ongoing basis and reviews them twice annually in the Winter and Fall. We add 1 to 3 new board members each year and are currently seeking non-voting committee members to serve on our Finance and Fundraising Committees.
