Can You Can It? Veggie Stock

You’ve probably seen boxed veggie stock at the grocery store, and maybe you’ve even made your own from veggie scraps, but did you know that you can make a big pot of veggie stock and have it last you all winter long, with proper storage?

Making veggie stock is a super simple and cheap way to reduce your food waste, and elevate your meals. Cooking with stock adds extra flavor and richness to your dishes.

Veggie stock can be pressure canned, or just frozen if you don’t have the supplies for pressure canning. If you choose to freeze it, try to think ahead and move your stock to the fridge a day or two before you plan on using it!
