Flower Growers FREE Workshop on Tues, Nov 19 – Don’t Miss This Free Training!

How much do specific crops contribute to farm profits?  How do you determine specific costs of production?

 Come learn how to:

  • Use time studies to capture information about labor requirements of different flower crops.
  • Learn what worked for other farmers to create good recordkeeping habits.
  • Use cost information to inform business decisions aimed at improving whole farm profitability.
  • Create a plan to help you be successful with your recordkeeping during the 2020 season.

This training is based on the experience of the “Know Your Cost To Grow” trainer Tanya Murray, who has 10+ years farming experience and works for Oregon Tilth. It is primarily for those with three or more years farming, or at least some experience with crop planning and record keeping. It will be a good group to learn from!  Register now – there is no charge, but space is limited.  Questions?  Contact Laura M. Ridenour [email protected], or at 206-743-6396.

Meeting location:  Farm Bureau Conference Room, 975 Carpenter Road Northeast, Lacey, WA 98516
