Everything you need for LOCAL, delicious, amazing dishes - both 'traditional' and innovative.*

Local farms' fall harvests include: potatoes (numerous varieties!), winter squashes of all kinds, beets, carrots, onions, garlic, shallots, celery root, rutabagas, turnips, kale and many other greens, Brussels sprouts, fresh herbs, farmstead cheeses, meats, poultry (turkeys are limited in supply and generally need to be pre-ordered), salmon, shellfish, eggs, apples, pears, ciders, wines, honey, and more.  Local artisan food vendors will have breads and other baked goods (pies!), preserves and other specialty items.  If you can't find what you're looking for, please do ask our staff at the Manager booth for assistance.

Happy Feasting!

PS, YES, the markets will be open Saturday and Sunday following Thanksgiving - and every weekend through the holidays and winter (with one exception: Cap Hill will be closed on Dec 24 only).

*(Remember that the real, original Thanksgiving feast featured ONLY what was local and available to the Pilgrims and Native Americans at the time, such as fresh-caught fish and dried berries - our modern-day holiday features a menu that was invented in the late 1800's by a lady's magazine editor ...)
