Vendor Recipes: Sean and Sheri’s Simple Sweet Potatoes

Total time: 1 hour 20 mins. Serves 2

Ingredients: 

  • 2 sweet potatoes from Edler Family Farms 

  • Butter 

  • Brown sugar 

  1. Preheat your oven to 400 and rinse your sweet potatoes.  

  2. Use a fork to poke holes into the potato. Poke it just enough to allow the steam to escape while baking. Put the potatoes on a baking sheet with parchment paper. 

  3. Let the sweet potatoes bake for an hour and 15 minutes. When you take them out of the oven, you should be able to easily poke through with a fork to the soft, fluffy insides.  

  4. Cut the potatoes in half and add a small pat of butter to each half. Sprinkle with brown sugar and use a fork to fluff the insides.  

  5. Serve and enjoy!
